Police have arrested several Telangana activists who were trying to hold a protest against Prime Minister’s visit to Hyderabad. The activists Dileep, Bal Reddy and several others were arrested at Necklace Road, when they were trying to fly black balloons. They are shifted to Nampally police station.
Earlier, the activists had gathered at Necklace road to fly black balloons, symbolically intended as protest against the Central Government’s apathy and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s silence over the formation of Telangana state.
