Prime Minister Mr Modi who addressed a public meeting in Hyderabad the other day lied to people blatantly.
Now the people are questioning his several claims. For instance, he said the Centre was planning to set up eight textile parks in the country and one will be set up in Telangana. In fact, the Telangana government has already set up a mega textile park in Warangal which is underway. Despite several requests to the Centre to partly fund the project, it did not heed.
Similarly, he said he had fed the poor during the lockdown period but he never cared for the migrant labour and it was the Telangana government that arranged for free rations, free trains, and some cash to help them reach their homes.
Mr Modi also claimed that his government offered free vaccination across the country which was another lie. It had fixed differential rates for vaccination, throwing the burden on the states.
The Prime Minister said they were reviving the fertiliser factory at Ramagundam but did not utter a word about why they were planning to sell away the Cement Corporation of India (CCI) at Adilabad.
He also claimed they had helped open Jan Dhan accounts but people have been waiting for his promise of depositing Rs 15 lakh in each account.
Mr Modi also promised many things to Hyderabad but indeed not a rupee was sanctioned so far. They were all on paper and nothing came true to date.
The Telangana chief minister Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao has been time and again stating that a government cannot survive telling lies to people but Mr Modi did not change his stand. He still continues to hoodwink people only eyeing power in Telangana state.
