Osmania University continued to reamin tense as students protested against the senseless remarks of Seemandhra MP Lagadapati Rajgopal on the university. OU students burnt the efffigy of Ladagapati and tried to take out a protest rally. Police stopped the students at NCC Yadaiah gate and fired about 30 tear gas shells at the students. Several students were taken ill due to the indiscriminate firing of tear gas.
