In the past, the district collector offices lacked toilets, chairs and other minimum facilities. But, the present integrated collector offices are equipped with all modern facilities, said Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari.
They are spacious providing a very good ambience to both the employees and the visitors. The state budget, which once was Rs. 63,000 crores, has risen to Rs. 1.80 lakh crore. With the new budget, it was all made possible to achieve development in all sectors.
She said it was a happy moment as the second phase of the Kanti Velugu programme which is benefitting lakhs of poor and needy will be launching soon. She urged the employees to rededicate themselves to the service of the poor given the facilities and funds by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
