The Telangana state government has decided to fill an additional 313 new posts in nine medical colleges.
The finance minister gave a green signal. The government had already filled 3,897 posts and created 433 posts for each medical college and hospital attached to it.
It may be noted that chief minister Mr KCR has inaugurated eight medical colleges recently. Much ahead of the central government, the Telangana government has decided to set up one medical college in each district.
The medical and health sector in Telangana is witnessing drastic development under the stewardship of KCR. Apart from medical colleges, scores of new hospitals are being built with all modern facilities and equipment.
