Nagole flyover thrown open to public by KTR

Here is another infrastructure addition to the city of Hyderabad. The much-awaited flyover at Nagole was inaugurated today by minister KT Rama Rao. The bi-directional flyover will ease traffic congestion on the L.B Nagar to Secunderabad stretch which is considered to be one of the busiest routes in the city.

The six-lane, 990-metre-long flyover is built by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation under the Telangana government’s Strategic Road Development Programme (SRDP). The flyover is built with a cost of Rs. 143.58 crores.

The flyovers and underpasses built under the SRDP have provided much-needed relief to commuters and reduced travel time. So far, a total of 31 projects were completed in Hyderabad under phase-1 of SRDP and 16 more are in progress. Out of these, 11 projects were taken up in and around L.B Nagar area.
