BRS party working president Mr KT Rama Rao faulting Hanumantha Rao said the party will stand by Mr Harish Rao who is the founder member of the party and doing service. “Mr Hanumantha Ra was enraged at Mr Harish Rao just because his son did not get a ticket in the election. I condemn such behaviour on the part of Hanumanth Rao,” the BRS leader said.

State sports authority former chairman A Venkateswara Reddy opined that Mr Hanumanth Rao should hold his tongue. He should think twice before pointing a finger at others such as Mr Harish Rao who enjoys more public patronage than Hanumanth Rao. He should immediately withdraw his statements and tender an apology.
MLC Mr Takkallapalli Ravinder Rao said that Mr Hanumanth Rao should have had some common sense before talking about Mr Harish Rao. “Hanumanth Rao cannot dictate terms to the party. He should withdraw his remarks or else face the consequences,” he said.
Meanwhile, a large number of party cadres in Malkajgiri being represented by Mr Hanumanth Rao and elsewhere in the state staged protests against him. They burned his effigies and expressed solidarity with Mr Harish Rao.
