The Telangana IT Minister Mr K T Rama Rao took strong exception to the remarks made by the Congress MLAs in Assembly and advised them to be decent.
Referring to Mr Rajagopal Reddy’s remarks against minister Mr T Srinivas Yadav, Mr Rama Rao said the Congress party is known for scandals and they looted earth and sky. They have no moral right to criticise the ruling TRS party.
Mr Rama Rao reminded that when TRS cadre celebrated Mr KCR’s birthday, Congress leader Mr Revanth Reddy made uncharitable remarks. When Mr KCR took ill, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy says he was shocked at BJP’s victory. “What kind of remarks are these? The Congress party lost deposits in 98 percent of seats. How can you make these comments against a leader who struggled and achieved separate Telangana?,” he sought to know.
Mr Rajagopal Reddy repeatedly accused the state government of taking up Kaleswaram project only for making money through contracts. He himself being a contractor, how could he make such remarks, Mr Srinivas Yadav wanted to know. Then heated argument followed and Mr Rajagopal Reddy lost his temper and made some uncharitable remarks against Mr Srinivas Yadav.
Mr K T Rama Rao seriously objected to this and asked the Congress leader to tender an apology for his bitter remarks. He should not make such comments against the senior member and a BC leader.
Mr Rama Rao advised the Congress leaders to restrain from accusing the ruling TRS of resorting to corruption. It is the Congress party that is known for A for Adarsh, B Bofor, C Commonwealth and so scandals.
