The Municipal Administration minister K T Rama Rao will be taking part in the Women’s day celebrations at Thorrur in Mahabubabad district and will also address a massive public meeting.
During his visit, Mr Rama Rao will inaugurate facilities – an integrated modern vegetable and non-veg market constructed with an estimated rupees four crore; inaugurate a children’s park (rupees two crore); lay a foundation for the extension of road dividers costing Rs 3.25 crore; distribute 10 lakh sewing machines worth Rs 5 crore among others.
Panchayat Raj minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao representing the Palakurthy constituency has made elaborate arrangements for the purpose. Over 20,000 women are expected to attend the public meeting.
