IT and Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao’s US tour continues to be punctuated with highly productive meetings as companies announced establishment of their centers in Telangana, expansion plans and explored prospective collaborations. During the meetings in Houston, USA the Minister pitched Telangana as an investment-friendly State and an ideal destination to set up operations of companies.

Mondee Holdings to set up a Technology Centre of Excellence

Mondee Holdings to set up a Technology Centre of Excellence in Telangana generating employment for about 2000 people.

The announcement was made after Prasad Gundumogula, Founder, Chairman, CEO of Mondee Holdings, along with the leadership team, met IT and Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao in Houston, USA.

Storable shares its expansion plans

The leadership team of Storable, which established its first Global Development Centre (GDC) in Hyderabad recently, met with IT and Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao and shared their expansion plans.

Storable is a leading software provider for the self-storage industry serving 41,000 out of the 60,000 storage facilities across the USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe. The tech giant will tap into the city’s talent pool, hiring 100 software developers to start with and to expand further. This collaboration boosts R&D capacity and creates more opportunities for local professionals.

The company also proposed to partner with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) and to engage with the local educational institutions.

Rite Software’s Development Centre to be inaugurated

The leadership team of US-based Rite Software, a leader in digital solutions provider in the ERP domain, met with IT and Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao in Houston, USA and invited the Minister to inaugurate their new Development Centre in Hyderabad on June 30, 2023.

This new Development Centre will provide employment opportunities for over 500 people this year and also establish collaborative partnerships with some of the esteemed academic institutions of Telangana.

During the meeting, representatives of Rite Software apprised the Minister of the firm’s future plans and their prospective expansion to Tier-II cities of Telangana like Warangal. Rite Software is considering to start a Development Centre in Warangal in near future.

The Charles Schwab Corporation team meets Minister KTR to explore potential collaboration opportunities

The leadership team of The Charles Schwab Corporation, an American financial services giant, led by Dennis Howard, global CIO met with IT and Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao in Houston, USA. Exploring potential collaboration opportunities was a key focus of the meeting. During the discussion, the Minister highlighted the numerous advantages of making investments in Hyderabad. Mr. Aseem R. Mahajan, Consul General of India in Houston was also present at the occasion.

Rave Gears expresses interest in establishing a manufacturing plant in Telangana

The leadership team from Texas-based ‘Rave Gears’ had a meeting with IT and Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao at Houston, USA and discussed prospective collaboration opportunities. Following the meeting, the company expressed interest in establishing a manufacturing plant in Telangana.

After the meeting, the company expressed their interest to set up an Advanced Technology Center (ATC) on Product Development and Design Thinking in Hyderabad.
