Massive preparatory rallies held across Telangana

Telangana is coming together drop by drop and is all poised to showcase a sea of humanity on September 30th.

Scores of rallies held across the region on Sunday showed the massive scale preparations that Telangana JAC has been doing for the September 30th Telangana March.

A huge rally named Orugallu Kavaathu was held in Hanumakonda. The rally was spearheaded by local JACs and Telangana Protection Forum.

another huge rally as held on Addagutta in Secunderabad. Elsewhere people from all walks of life came on to the streets to support the TJAC’s call. Rallies and demonstrations were held at Nizamabad, Bodhan, Bhuvanagiri, Suryapet and Lalapet.

Telangana JAC Chairman Prof Kodandaram has said that the people of Telangana would celebrate if the UPA government declares statehood by 30th. “Otherwise the union government should be prepared to face the wrath of Telangana people” he warned.

Prof Kodandaram urged the Telangana people to come prepared to Hyderabad to stay put for longer periods if needed.

Meanwhile TRS LP leader T Harish Rao warned that the Hyderabad city would be encircled from all corners. He said no force on earth can stop Telangana March.

Congress senior leader and Ex-MP K. Keshava Rao has said that the time has arrived to translate our words into actions.

TJAC co-chairman Mallepalli Lakshmaiah stated that the people of Telangana would rewrite history on September 30th.

CPI state secretary K Narayana criticized the state and central governments for trying to suppress the movement by using brute force. He said that the Telangana aspirations cannot be suppressed by such draconian measures.
