Let’s launch an intense struggle over paddy procurement issue, CM KCR

 

Mr KCR said paddy cultivation had come down by 20 lakh acres now in Telangana and only 30 lakh acres were cultivated. The Centre has the responsibility to procure the paddy as it does in other states like Punjab.

The Chief Minister said a delegation of ministers and MPs would leave for New Delhi to take up the issue with the union ministers.

Telangana chief minister Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao desired that the BJP led central government should go out of power as it posed a threat to the democratic spirit. After a prolonged meeting with the party leaders – MLAs, Ministers, MPs and other elected representatives, he address the media. He said BJP proved to be worst than the UPA on all fronts. Neither a single project was taken up nor a welfare programme launched. The unemployment rate increased and GDP rate decreased and there was no progress in the country.

CM Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao held a meeting with the party leaders on paddy procurement and wanted that the Centre should not discriminate between states and adopt a uniform policy.

Mr KCR said as he foretold the BJP had lost its seats in UP, Uttarakhand, and proved a failure in Punjab.

The chief minister wished that a good alternative would come up in the country very soon. “Mr Modi had utterly failed the country and dashed the hopes of people,” Mr KCR asserted.

He said on every index the country failed to make any progress and it is there on record.
