IT minister KT Rama Rao continued his mission to woo investors, and on the seventh day of his visit to the United States. On Wednesday, Rama Rao met Shantanu Narayen, CEO of Adobe Systems. Shantanu Narayen is a student of Hyderabad Public School. Expressing his happiness on seeing the delegation from Telangana, Narayen said he is a Hyderabadi and will extend all possible co-operation for development of the city. The minister invited the Adobe CEO to consider Hyderabad for its expansion plans, for which Narayen assured that the city would definitely be factored into their growth plans.
Later, Rama Rao met Mark Hurd, CEO, Oracle and introduced the state’s revolutionary industrial policyand also the unparalleled advantages Hyderabad offers to investors. Various areas in which Telangana state government and Oracle could work together were discussed, an official release said. During the meeting, the minister explained the complete safety Hyderabad offers for businesses such as data centers. “The Oracle team was highly impressed with the proactive initiatives of the Telangana state,” the release said adding the Oracle team told the minister that Hyderabad would feature prominently in their future growth plans.
