BRS Working President KTR has made an appeal to the Congress government to release the next installment of Dr B.R Ambedkar Overseas Scholarship.
Responding to a request of a student, KTR urged the government to release the amount. “My request to Deputy CM and Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Garu to release the Ambedkar Overseas Scholarship next instalment at the earliest,” wrote KTR in a ‘X’ post.
A student named Raju Perupanga requested KTR through a ‘X’ post to escalate his concern. “I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in the USA and I belong to the Scheduled Caste community. I received the Ambedkar Overseas Scholarship to fund my studies. However, I have not yet received the second installment which is crucial for paying my college fee,” wrote Raju.
KTR added that more than 7,000 Telangana students from SC/ST/BC/Minority and EBC background have received the overseas scholarship from KCR Government.
