KTR Invites Ratan Tata to Inaugurate T Hub

The Telangana government on Wednesday invited Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of Tata sons, to inaugurate T Hub, India’s largest technology incubator being set up in Hyderabad.

IT minister KT Rama Rao met Ratan Tata in Mumbai on Wednesday to invite him to inaugurate the facility coming up at the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in Hyderabad.

The minister, accompanied by IT secretary Jayesh Ranjan, explained to Tata about the T Hub and the digital initiatives being undertaken by the state.

According to KTR, Tata lauded the state’s new industrial policy calling it one of the best he has ever come across anywhere.

KTR also called on Anand Mahindra, chairman and managing director of Mahindra Group. Anand said he would soon visit Telangana to explore investment opportunities in the state.

Rama Rao hoped that Mahindra Group which has already invested in several projects in Telangana would continue its support to the state in future too.
