The newly opened Kothaguda flyover is getting a big thumbs up from the netizens. Taking to Twitter, the regular commuters along the Kondapur, Botanical Garden stretch are expressing satisfaction as their travel life was made easier.
Actor-director Rahul Ravindran wrote, “The Kondapur Junction flyover is a gift. Life made so much easier.” This tweet from the national award-winning screenwriter has received a good response from Twitterati with many sharing their experience.
A Twitter user named Varshith wrote, “I live near the flyover. A trip to Inorbit used to take one during peak. It’s reduced to 15 minutes. It’s awesome.” Rahul Ravindran also thanked minister KTR for this new addition, “It’s outstanding. Thank you for this,” he wrote.
Thanking CM KCR and minister KTR, another netizen with a Twitter handle named Actual India wrote that the flyover at Botanical Garden, Kothaguda and Kondapur junction is a lifesaver.
The highlight of the inauguration of this flyover is minister KTR’s heartwarming gesture. KTR has asked two engineers who worked on the project to open this flyover. This gesture of KTR has received wide appreciation from the people for duly acknowledging the efforts of the engineers.
In just two days after the inauguration on January 1, 2023, this multi-level flyover is receiving praise from all quarters. This flyover has addressed the traffic woes of citizens commuting to Gachibowli and other IT hubs in the city.
The 2.2-kilometre-long Kothaguda flyover was built with a cost of Rs. 263.09 crores under the Strategic Road Development Program (SRDP). Under the SRDP, 34 projects were completed including 18 flyovers and a cable bridge. And 13 more projects are in various stages of completion.
