Amidst conflicting signals about BJP’s support to the Telangana statehood bill, TRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao met BJP President Rajnath Singh at the latter’s residence today afternoon.
During the meeting, KCR has appealed to BJP President to extend full cooperation for the passage of Telangana bill. He reminded Rajnath about the several commitments BJP had made to the people of Telangana in the past.
Emerging out of the meeting, KCR informed media that Rajnath Singh has assured him of support to the statehood bill.

Meanwhile the Union Government is making all efforts to introduce the statehood bill in Rajya Sabha on 10th Feb.
The Union Cabinet is expected to meet tomorrow and approve the final version of the bill.
