KCR Leaves for Delhi to Attend Niti Aayog

Chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who left for Delhi on Monday to attend a meeting of Niti Aayog, will invite the President and Prime Minister for the proposed Ayata Maha Chandi Yagam proposed by him on December 23 at his farmhouse in Gajwel of Medak district.

KCR will meet Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee and invite them to the Chandi Yagam which he is performing after a long time. During his three-day tour staring Monday, KCR along with chief ministers of other states will submit a sub-committee report of the NITI Aayog to the Prime Minister on Tuesday.

The sub-committee report of Niti Aayog was on the implementation of Centrally sponsored schemes in states.

KCR would meet Union finance minister Arun Jaitley and reiterate the past demand of increasing of FRBM limit. Rao will also seek Central funds for some flagship programmes of the state and also increase of Central funds to the state. Later, he will meet surface transport minister Nitin Gadkari to discuss about the development of national highways in the state.

KCR along with the members of the Niti Aayog sub-group will submit the report of Niti Aayog to Modi.
