Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao assured of completing construction of double bedroom houses within five and half months on Thursday.
He laid foundation stone to 485 double bedroom houses in Erravelli and Narsannapeta villages and said that house warming ceremony of all the houses will be held on a single day.
KCR asked villagers to live with unity, irrespective of caste and religion, to work for overall development of the village. He further said that even if the government support them, without unity it will be of no use.
The CM explained that work of 285 houses in Erravelli and 200 houses in Narsannapeta village will commence soon. He asked farmers to take steps to irrigate their crops by drip system by next Kharif.
KCR opined that by next Dusshera the two villages should transform to ideal villages in the country.
The CM assured villagers that agricultural scientists will visit their villages and suggest farmers about crops they have to raise based on land fertility.
District collector Ronald Ross, Medak MP K Prabhakar Reddy, GADA officer Hanumanth Rao and others were also present.
Meanwhile, irrigation minister T Harish Rao and Narsapur MLA CH Madan Reddy also laid foundation stone for construction of houses in their respective constituencies.
Also deputy speaker M Padma laid foundation stone for construction of double bedroom houses in Medak constituency on Friday.
