KCR fires on opposition parties

Amidst a tremendous response from the public, Chief Minister and TRS President K Chandrashekar Rao took to the dais at Praja Ashirwada Sabha at Wanaparthy on Friday.

“Vote for Congress and TDP would mean handing over the future of Telangana back to Delhi and Amaravathi leadership,” said KCR.

Attacking the Congress leadership in the state, he said, “When YS Rajashekhar Reddy diverted Mahabubnagar’s share of water to Rayalaseema and pushed Mahabubnagar region into drought condition Telangana Congress leaders never opposed the move.”

He also said that it was TRS Ministers who resigned from their posts in the Congress government opposing the injustice to Palamuru region.

In the meeting, KCR also attacked his old rival TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu. He reiterated that Chandrababu Naidu did no good to Telangana and has written letters to stop irrigation projects in the state. He mentioned that Chandrababu Naidu had adopted the erstwhile Mahabubnagar district for nine years during his tenure, and only laid foundation stones without taking up works.

In the meeting, he strongly questioned, “Should we be slaves again to Amaravathi and Delhi or should we protect Telangana’s self-respect?”

With the third meeting in a row, TRS party Chief KCR is heating the election moment with his aggressive speeches.
