The Telangana capital city Hyderabad is organising the most prestigious international conference Bio Asia from February 25 to 26.
About 2,500 delegates -mostly CEOS, Chairmen of companies from nearly 50 countries are expected to attend. Novartis CEO V Narasimhan would be delivering the keynote address.
The conference is expected to earn more recognition to Telangana across the globe, Mr KTR opined.
He said of late Hyderabad had turned into a Life Science hub and laboratories are being set up in 50 lakh square feet.
In his chit-chat with the media persons, he revealed that there were plans to set up an exclusive Life Science university, which would be second in the country and third in the world near Mucharla pharma city.
He further said from the present 50 billion life sciences sector in Telangana, it is expected to touch 100 billion dollars soon. Despite non-cooperation from the Centre, the Telangana government is leaving no stone unturned in bringing more development in every secretary.
“Telangana state will continue to grow. Had the Centre supported, it will be possible to achieve growth faster,” Mr KTR pointed out.
