Hyundai Mobis, an Automotive giant to set up campus in Hyderabad 

Giving a big boost to automotive and mobility ecosystem in the city, Hyundai Mobis will set up mega campus in Hyderabad. A team from Hyundai Mobis, along with their consultants CBRE met with the Minister for IT and Industries KT Rama Rao and expressed their interest in setting up a mega campus for the company in Kollur/ Osmannagar IT Cluster in about 20 acres.

The company proposes to set up a 2,000 employee integrated campus by building around one million sq ft over the next few years in a campus spread over 20 acres. The company plans to make the campus operational by 2020.

The campus will carry out activities including product engineering, research and development, and associated IT and ITeS activities.

Minister Rama Rao has issued the allotment letter to the company for an extent of 20 acres in the Kollur/Osmannagar cluster and has also directed the MD TSIIC, E V Narasimha Reddy to immediately clear all procedures and complete the allotment at the earliest in lieu of the year 2020 target date set by the company to create it campus.

K T Rama Rao said, “The company setting up its campus in Kollur/ Osmannagar leads to the creation of a sizeable mobility cluster in the city of Hyderabad. The company will bring great impetus to the expanding automotive and smart mobility ecosystem in the city. We are already working with a few other major automotive companies in this regard. We are glad that the company has set up this huge investment in the city and we would look forward to working with the company and other automotive giants in building an integrated mobility cluster in Kollur.”

Principal secretary IT and Industries, Jayesh Ranjan and the Chief Relations Officer, Amarnath Reddy participated in the meeting.
