The latest survey by Headlines Today and C-Voter confirmed what Telangana activists have long been saying. Both YSRCP and TDP are going to become history in a future Telangana state. Both these parties, headed by Seemandhra leaders, are paying a huge price for backstabbing Telangana people on statehood issue. TDP supremo Chandra Babu Naidu and YSRCP head YS Jagan, have both cheated the Telangana people, by going back on their support to statehood.
According to the survey, Telangana Rashtra Samithi, as expected is all set to emerge as the single largest party by bagging as many as 12 Lok Sabha seats. The people of Telangana are going to reward TRS handsomely for leading the statehood agitation from the front.
The Congress party, which would also benefit from the statehood declaration, might end up with 4 seats. MIM is expected to retain the Hyderabad MP seat.
The results prove yet again that both YSRCP and TDP have to test their fortunes in the residual Andhra Pradesh (Seemandhra).
Most of the Telangana leaders in YSRCP have already abandoned the sinking ship. It is about time that the Telangana leaders in Telugu Desam party also start looking for alternatives.
