HMDA should play a key role in city development, IT Minister Mr KTR tells officials.

 

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) should come up with plans as per the expectations of the people, said IT Minister Mr K T Rama Rao.

The minister who for the first time visited the HMDA office at Ameerpet held a detailed meeting with the officials there and sought to know about their ongoing and future plans. He wanted the officials to come up with innovative plans keeping future needs in mind.

Commissioner and special chief secretary Mr Aravind Kumar apprised the minister about their ongoing projects. Later the minister interacted with the officials of various wings such as engineering, planning, urban forestry among others. He shared his mind with them and suggested some changes in the approaches.

Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited managing director Santhosh, Urban Forestry director B Prabhakar, HMDA secretary P Chandraiah, chief engineer BLN Reddy, Planning directors, and others were present.
