Deccani Gorrela Mekala Pempakadarla Sangham, a member of Food Sovereignty Alliance, invite you to Gongadi Exhibition in Hyderabad to celebrate the The Revival of the Gongadi – The Ancient Wool Craft Of Telangana. This revival is the effort of conserving the rare Deccani Sheep breed central to the lives and livelihood of communities.
This exhibition organised by dāram, and Deccani Gorrela Mekala Pempakadarla Sangham, brings to you traditional and new designs of varying sizes. The spinners, weavers and artisans will share the story of the Gongadi.
