Foxconn to create 1 lakh jobs in TS; Chairman Young Liu meets CM KCR

The world’s top electronics manufacturer Foxconn pledges to open its unit in Telangana and envisages providing one lakh jobs in the next ten years. The company chairman Mr Young Liu closeted with the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao with his delegation. An MoU was signed between the company and the state government.

Mr Liu said they would open a facility of the company in Hyderabad. He was impressed by the rapid strides being made by the Telangana state in all sectors particularly turning Hyderabad into a global city.
On his part, the chief minister Mr KCR said he was happy with the decision of the company and assured provide all the support required by the company.

This is first of its kind investment in the country where one lakh jobs would be created and most of the Telangana youth stand to benefit from it.

Foxconn is a Taiwan-based multinational electronics contract manufacturing company that works for global giants like Apple. Nearly 40 percent of the electronics sold across the globe are produced by Foxconn at its 137 campuses in 24 countries in the world.
