Exit Polls predict TRS sweep

Confirming what the pre-election opinion polls predicted, two exit polls conducted in the 6 Telangana assembly seats concluded that TRS would sweep 5 seats and Nagam would win in Nagar Kurnool.

The exit poll conducted by news channel TV5 predicted that independent candidate Nagam Janardhan Reddy, who is supported by TRS would get the maximum majority by bagging 55% of vote share. In the rest of the constituencies, TRS candidates are projected to win by comfortable margins.

In Mahabubnagar, TRS candidate Mohammad Ibrahim is set to win and BJP will be placed second. TDP might lose its deposit in this four-cornered contest.

A similar survey done by controversial Congress MP from Seemandhra region- Lagadapati Rajgopal also predicted that TRS candidates and Nagam Janardhan Reddy would win.
