TDP leaders seem to have made a habit of abusing and misleading people. Errabelli Dayakar Rao, the leader of Telangana TDP forum landed in jail for doing the exact same thing.
Errabelli was arrested yesterday as per the complaint of Jafargadh Police Inspector M Ranjeet Kumar for threatening and abusing him during an election rally on 7th March.
But, true to the nature of Telugu Desam leaders, Errabelli tried to act smart with the court too. He submitted his bail petition, in which his lawyer sought bail under a different IPC section. The Public Prosecutor and judge who were peeved by this mischief, promptly ordered a 14 day judicial remand for Errabelli.
Earlier several Telangana lawyers shouted slogans against TDP and Errabelli Dayakar Rao at the Warangal court. He was sent to the Warangal Central Jail amidst high security yesterday evening.
Errabelli can now cool his heels until the by-elections are over. In a way, this is good news for Errabelli because he need not canvas in the elections and get hit by chappals and eggs.
