DSP Nalini’s Deeksha enters 2nd Day

The indefinite fast of Nalini, Deputy Superintendent of Police, who had resigned from her post protesting the delay in formation of Telangana state, has entered its second day.

Several national and state level leaders are thronging the venue of Nalini’s deeksha at Jantar Mantar. Yesterday, Bhongir MP Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy and state Textiles Minister P. Shankar Rao called upon Nalini.

Some OUJAC students led by their leader K Mahesh raised slogans against P. Shankar Rao for supporting the ruling Kirankumar Reddy’s government during the recent no-trust motion in state assembly.

Today, Delhi Telangana Joint Action Committee convener Rajender Reddy and noted social activist Swamy Agnivesh visited Nalini’s deeksha camp and extended solidarity to her.
