CPI (ML) New Democracy is all set to give a new impetus to the Sakala Janula Samme by conducting a massive meeting in Khammam today. Christened as “Poru Garjana”, this public meeting will be attended by all the parties in the political JAC. A rally with 20,000 people is planned ahead of the public meeting. New Democracy which has been taking part actively in the general strike has a strong cadre in Khammam. Leader of the party Suryam said that they will conduct these meetings in all the Telangana districts.
Telangana political JAC Chairman, TRS Supremo KCR, TNGO Association President Swamy Goud and other pro Telangana leaders, various JACs will be attending the meeting. KCR who is suffering from viral fever was in a dilemma yesterday whether to attend, has now decided by flying to Khammam instead of taking the road route.
Meanwhile, Kodandaram warned the state Government not to create any hurdles for the meeting. Any attempt to do so would aggravate the already deteriorating situation. He called upon the employees to resist the arrests and prevent the Government from conducting its day to day operations.
