The genocide in Telangana is continuing. Congress indecision, coupled with the irresponsible behavior of Congress leaders has claimed another Telangana youngter’s life.
Bhojya Naik, an MBA student from Kakatiya University immolated himself yesterday and succumbed to injuries later in the day. Witnesses say he was shouting Jai Telangana slogans even while he was surrounded by flames.
While undergoing treatment in MGM hospital, Bhojya Naik clearly mentioned that he took this extreme step because of the inordinate delay in Telangana formation. Bhojya Naik also mentioned the irresponsible statements made by Congress Chief Whip and MLA Gandra Venkataramana Reddy and TDP MLA Erravelli Dayakar Rao on the Telangana statehood movement.
The incident has sent shock waves across the 10 districts of Telangana. Kakatiya University JAC has called for a Telangana Bandh while Telangana Political JAC has called for Warangal Bandh.
Prof. Kodandaram has appealed to youngsters not to take such extreme steps. He said that only a unified people’s movement would deliver Telangana.
Peddi Sudarshan Reddy, TRS Warangal district president and Dr. Rajaih, MLA from Stn Ghanpur were at the MGM hospital to visit the body of Bhojya Naik. They too appealed to youngsters not to commit suicides for Telangana cause.
