On Friday people across the state, particularly farmers hoisted black flags in protest on their houses.
They were protesting demanding that the central government procure paddy from the farmers in Telangana state.
Following the call given by the TRS working president Mr. KTR,
the party cadre and farmers are continuing their protest. It will conclude at New Delhi on the 11th where the Rythu Bandhu Samithi Chairman and MLC Mr. Palla Rajeswar Reddy vowed to show the strength of the party to the country particularly the BJP government at center.
Union agriculture minister Mr Piyush Goyal blatantly lied time and again over the procurement of boiled rice, raw rice and broken rice. It’s noting but clear discrimination of Telangana state where the BJP is dreaming to come to power.
The ongoing agitation over paddy procurement has assumed a massive proportion as it involved even those not concerned with the issue. It is because people are able to see how the BJP is treating Telangana state in every aspect.
TRS working president Mr KTR has demanded that the Prime Minister Mr Modi should tell the people of the country about the current state of affairs. Why the economy declined beyond control, why the unemployment rate increased, why the prices of fuel and all essential commodities went up, why the central government failed to check the same.
Mr KTR also wants to know where the local BJP leaders Bandi Sanjay and Mr G Kishan Reddy are hiding who instigated farmers to sow paddy when their own government refused to buy paddy here in Telangana.
