If Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has his way, the world’s highest building will come up at Sanjeevaiah Park.
“Keeping the environs of Sanjeevaiah Park intact, the world’s tallest tower should be constructed there,” he instructed officials here on Monday at a review meeting with officials.
Days after announcing that surroundings of Hussainsagar lake would be dotted with skyscrapers and highrises, ChandrasekharRao narrowed down on Sanjeevaiah Park for taking up construction of the world’s largest highrise there.
Officials submitted to the chief minister a list of places abutting the Hussainsagar for constructing the skyscrapers.
GHMC commissioner Somesh Kumar and others submitted the list and detailed the chief minister about the availability of land.
The government will also come up with highrise towers at Patigadda, Nursing College, Dilkusha Guest House, Raghava Towers and other places which were identified by the officials as part of the government’s plans to dot the skyline of Hussainsagar with skyscrapers.
