The Chief Minister Mr KCR greeted the people of the state on the occasion of the Telugu New Year Shudhakruth Ugadi festival.
He said within a short time the Telangana state made rapid strides on all fronts and wished it would reach many more miles in the new year.
With its initiatives and peoples’ cooperation, Telangana stood as a role model in the country within a short period and it will continue to do so.
The farming sector witnessed phenomenal growth due to the initiatives taken by the state government. It also helped develop allied sectors thus strengthening the rural economy in the state. Even during the Corona pandemic, it is the agricultural activity that helped improve the GSDP in the state. It also helped provide employment to the youth.
Meanwhile, commemorating the festival, a grand function was held at Pragathi Bhavan where Vedic rituals, special prayers, and reading of almanac took place where the Vedic pundits prophesied a good future to the state and people of Telangana.
They showered praise on chief minister Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao for his initiatives.
