All the government offices should hoist the national flag on office buildings and conduct cultural and other patriotic programmes commemorating the occasion.

The Chief Minister has asked all the public representatives and officials to have photographs of the national flag on their letter pads.

He instructed the Municipal, Panchayat Raj, and Education departments to come up with programmes for the two-week-long celebrations of the Indian freedom movement.
