Charities Pour in as CM KCR Announces 1.16 Kg Gold to Yadadri Temple.

After the Chief Minister Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao announced his donation of 1.16 kg gold for the development of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Yadadri, charities come pouring in from many.

CM KCR who toured and inspected the ongoing renovation works of this ancient temple has said that the gold covering for the Vimana Gopuram needs 125 kg gold. After announcing his share, he appealed to the generous to contribute their might. Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy agreed to donate one kg gold and many more followed the suit.

Hetero Group Chairman Parthasarathi Reddy said he will give five kg gold, Labour Minister Ch Malla Reddy announced two kg gold, MLA Marri Janardhan Reddy announced two kg gold and 11 others too expressed their willingness to donate one kg gold each.

Mr KCR said he expects more gold for the purpose and if required, the state government would buy the gold from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to turn the ancient temple into a modern marvel.
