Members of central EGS committee M Sudhir Kumar and AL Franklin visited Sircilla district. They went on studying the methods adopted in water conservation.
They visited Rajannapet to observe restored Vadlavanu Kunta tanks and feeder channels and water harvesting structure in mandal parishad office. They also visited the farm pond at Haridasnagar and tank at Mustabad. They saw the contours dug up on Namapur hillocks.
The officials said the efforts of Telangana government in improving the ground water and conserving the water are excellent. They expressed their happiness at the dedication of local officials and public participation.
