BRS working president and minister Mr KT Rama Rao has said his party would win over 70 assembly seats in the just concluded elections. Urging the party cadre not to panic going by the exit polls, he said all the exit polls were proved wrong the last time. He appealed to the party cadre not to lose confidence.
How could one predict the result by talking to just 200 people, he sought to know. He wanted to know would those conducting exit polls apologise if their predictions went wrong, he posed.
Mr KTR dismissed all the exit polls as a nuisance and nonsense. There is over-hype in social media that is confusing people. But the truth is far from that is being dished out to people on social media.
In 2018, some exit polls predicted 48 seats, some said BRS would win 50 seats and another said 68 seats. But in fact, the party won a whopping 88 seats. All the exit polls were proved wrong.
Last time five national-level agencies conducted exit polls of which only one came true. The survey agencies are crossing their limits and conducting unreasonable and unscientific methods of surveys.
He said he had seen several such surveys in the past and there is no point in panicking about them.
On December 3, the result would be entirely different. The BRS is damn sure to form the next government in the Telangana state. The CM KCR will be a hat trick chief minister, Mr KTR said.
