The Municipal administration minister Mr K T Rama Rao will be visiting Station Ghanpur constituency on Monday. The local leaders led by Panchayat Raj minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao are making elaborate arrangements for his visit and also for the proposed public meeting at Shodashapalli village in Velair mandal.
Mr Rama Rao would be laying the foundation for the irrigation works worth Rs. 150 crores during his visit.
In some areas in Jangaon and Station Ghanpur constituencies, there are areas on a higher plane where people are suffering from water scarcity. In order to address their need, and make the land fertile, it was decided to construct three lift irrigation projects with Rs. 150 crores and the funds were released.
Mr Rama Rao would be laying the foundation for these mini lift irrigation projects. Later he would address the public meeting at Shodashapalli village.
