In recent times, political violence has been unfolding in Telangana like never before. BRS leader Sridhar Reddy was brutally killed in Lakshmipalli, Chinnambavi Mandal, in Kollapur. Sridhar Reddy, who is said to be a close aide of former MLA Beeram Harshavardhan Reddy, was found dead on his cot in the open air.
Harshavardhan Reddy is alleging that Minister Jupally Krishna Rao was involved in this gruesome murder. The former MLA says that this is a politically motivated killing, and a week ago, a petition was submitted to the Telangana DGP to maintain peace and security in the Kollapur constituency.
In the wake of an Army jawan’s recent murder, the death of Sridhar Reddy has intensified concerns. Beeram Harshavardhan Reddy has criticized the Revanth Reddy-led government for failing to address the continuous acts of violence by Congress leaders in the Kollapur constituency.
