Ending the ongoing suspense on its candidate for Parakala bypolls, party supremo KCR declared that Molugoori Bikshapathy would contest from TRS. There was intense competition for this seat with half-a-dozen hopefuls. Finally, TRS has decided to go with Bikshapathy only.
Moguloori Bikshapathy had contested from Parakala seat in 2009 general elections too and lost to Konda Surekha. He hails from Parakala and has a strong cadre base in the constituency. He had done his BCom from Arts College Warangal and has served as Sarpanch and ZPTC from Parakala in the past.
KCR has personally handed over the B-form to Bikshapathy yesterday evening.
TRS cadre in the Parakala constituency are upbeat at the selection of Bikshapathy. They exuded confidence that their candidate would win with a thumping majority.
