BRS founder and former chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has asked the party leaders not to be discouraged by the defeat. He wanted them to be among people and work for them. In elections, winning and losing are common and one should not get disheartened at the defeat.
Scores of people and party leaders have been visiting the residence of Mr KCR at Erravelli. On Thursday, several leaders met him. MP Maloth Kavitha, DS Redya Naik, Srinivasa Reddy, S Madhusudhana Chary, Puvvada Ajay Kumar, Sheri Subhash Reddy, Ganesh Gupta, Balamallu and others met Mr KCR.
Mr KCR said the BRS party has 60 lakh party workers which no other party has. The party leaders should work with them. He said he would convene a party extended meeting at the party office Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad. The party would elect the leader of the Opposition soon at the meeting. He has been calling the defeated leaders and infusing confidence among them.
