MLC Banda Prakash was elected as the Deputy Chairman of council unopposed. Banda Prakash was asked to resign as Parliament member and appointed MLC by Chief Minister KCR after the exit of Etela Rajender.
CM KCR lauded him and congratulated him on the occasion. The cabinet ministers also congratulated him on his elevation as Deputy Chairman of the council.
CM KCR has given due respect to all castes in the state since formation of separate Telangana state and nobody can dispute his commitment for welfare of the state.
