A group of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders from Punjab led by Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh were amazed by the achievements of the Telangana government. Mr Kultar Singh, deputy speaker Jai Singh Rauri, MP P Vikramjit Singh Sahani, MLAs Kulwanth Singh and Amarjit Singh and others visited Nizamabad district on Saturday and inspected various development programmes.
They went round the newly built integrated collector complex. The local BRS leaders apprised the AAP delegation about welfare schemes such as Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Beema, Kalyana Laxmi among others.
Interacting later with the media persons, Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh said they were astounded with the Telangana government’s achievements. The chambers of the collector office are much better than those of ministers at New Delhi.
He said they wondered at the support the farmers in Telangana are getting from the state government. No one in the country ever thought of Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Beema but for Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Giving direct support of Rs. 10,000 per acre per year is something unimaginable. Everybody gives the slogan “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan” but KCR proved it in deeds. The farmers are the backbone of the country and by helping them, KCR will have all the blessings of God forever.
The country, particularly the farmers, are waiting for a leader like KCR and as he declared ‘Ab ki baar Kisan sarkar’, it is going to become a reality soon, AAP leader Kultar Singh said.
A society where farmers are happy will always be happy and prosperous. KCR improved the irrigation sector and is providing free power bringing joy to lakhs of farmers in Telangana.
The AAP leader also lauded the welfare schemes Kalyana Laxmi, pensions to all sections of the society among others.
