The state government will issue notification for recruitment of 13,000 new jobs in various categories in the health department soon.
Inaugurating T hub mini diagnostic centre and a mobile application at Narsingi, he said the salaries of aasha workers were increased, all government hospitals are being modernized, modern equipment is being added with annual maintenance contract for perfect maintenance, new hospitals being built in agency areas hitherto unreachable or officials reluctant to go for various reasons.
He said now ANMs are visiting door to door and conducting tests. He warned doctors asking patients to buy medicines outside. He said medicines are made available at all government hospitals and the patients need not go out to buy medicines.
Mr Harish Rao said one could judge the performance of the government with an increase in institutional deliveries to 56 percent from 30 percent in the last seven years.
He said chief minister Mr KCR is very serious about improving health services and those officials neglecting their duties will be dealt seriously. Those performing best will be rewarded suitably.
It may seem too much of a claim, but no government employee including the police ever ventured into places like Bhupalpally or Mulugu districts once part of Warangal district. People had no other option but to wait for their fate for health or justice.
The situation is now completely reversed.
The remote Wazed Mandal, Venkatapuram Mandal and other parts abutting river Godavari and Chattisgarh State border were without power, transport or any help indeed.
The ruling TRS government changed all that and now Wazed mandal has full uninterrupted power and transport of course auto rickshaws round the clock towards Eturnagaram for any emergency.
