The abode of Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy, Yadagirigutta, will from now on be called Yadadri. Tridandi Srimannarayana Chinna Jeeyar Swamy renamed the famous temple on the request of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Yadadri will be the main hillock on which the temple is located while the eight other adjoining hills will also be developed soon and Chinna Jeeyar Swamy will name them too.
Rao along with Chinna Jeeyar Swamy conducted an aerial survey and ground inspection of the hillock on Thursday. The Chief Minister is keen on developing Yadagirigutta on a par with Tirumala.
He wants to take up development activities strictly as per the Agama Shastra and hence, the involvement of Chinna Jeeyar Swamy. Rao proposed a mono rail to Yadadri. Among the other proposals discussed were the need to construct a kitchen within the temple premises for preparing the ‘Maha Naivedyam’ and parking for at least 100 vehicles on the hillock and 5,000 down the hill. Chinna Jeeyar Swamy said the CM had initiated a spiritual revolution in the State.
