Speaking at a meeting conducted by Democratic Teachers Federation (DTF) in Mahabubnagar, TJAC Chairman Prof Kodandaram said that any anti-Telangana talk would not be tolerated in future. He recounted how a resource strapped Andhra state leaders desperately tried to merge with Telangana in the name of common language.
He said “Since its merger, Telangana region is being subjected to destruction of resources and violence”.
Prof Kodandaram said that JAC is gearing up for agitations from August 15th and a massive “Telangana March” would be conducted from September 30th.
He said JAC has alredy started the preparations for Telangana March, which is being modeled on the Tahrir Square protests in Egypt.
DTF district leader Raghavachary also spoke at the meeting.
