We will withdraw from Munugode contest if Modi gives 18,000 cr for Nalgonda development: KTR

The IT minister TRS working president Mr KTR had thrown a rare challenge to PM Mr Modi. He said his party will withdraw from contesting Munugode by- election if the centre agrees to sanction Rs 18,000 crore for the development of Nalgonda district.

The Gujarat got Rs 80,000 crore packages in five months. Can the centre give just Rs 18,000 crore? He sought to know. The country will not benefit if a person becomes rich or if somebody gets a contract.

He reminded that Niti Ayog asked the centre to fund the Mission Bhagiratha of Telangana government that successfully ended the fluoride problem of Nalgonda people. The BJP should desist from bad politics like resorting to horse trading and buying leaders of other parties by threatening them with IT and ED raids.
