The President of Tatarstan on his visit to the state of Telangana said, “We are very impressed by the growth of the Telangana state and its progressive approach and said he looked forward to more opportunities of cooperation between Tatarstan and Telangana.”
The Government of Telangana and the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia have organized a business forum together on the arrival of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mr. Rustam Minnikhanov to Hyderabad. Several entrepreneurs attended the business forum from the Republic of Tatarstan and the state of Telangana.
Deputy Prime Minister from the Republic of Tatarstan, Mr. Albert Karimov, Deputy Prime Minister from the Republic of Tatarstan, Mr. Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Consul General of Russia in India, Mr. Sergey Kotov, and several other senior diplomats were present from the Republic of Tatarstan.
The state of Telangana was represented by the Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Mohammad Mahmood Ali, Member of Parliament, Mr. A. P. Jithender Reddy, Principal Secretary IT and Industries, Government of Telangana, Mr. Jayesh Ranjan IAS, Chief Relations Officer, Mr. A. Amarnath Reddy, Deputy Chief Relations Officer, Mr. Srinivas Thandra, Honourary Consul of the Russian Republic in Hyderabad, Mr. Toghrille Peter Hassan, Mr. E. Vishnuvardhan Reddy, Regional Passport Officer, Mr. Srikanth Srinivasan, Regional Director of NASSCOM, Mr. Srinivas, Chief Operating Officer from HYSEA, Mr. P. J. Narayanan, Director of IIIT, Mrs. Deepthi Reddy, CEO of WeHub, Mr. Raminder Singh from the Electronics Industry and others were present.
Earlier, he visited the T-hub, ISB and the Microsoft campus prior to the Business forum accompanied by the officials in the IT department. Cooperation was discussed in the areas of Core Engineering, Defense and Aerospace, Petrochemicals, Oil and Natural Gas, IT, and Electronics. Kazan Helicopters had expressed its interest in establishing a unit in the state of Telangana. The Vice Rector of the Innopolis University, Mr. Iskander Bariyev and Director of IIIT, Prof. P. J. Narayanan signed an MoU for partnership in the areas of Computer Science and IT Education.
Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Mohammad Mahmood Ali quoted that “Telangana is a very progressive state under the dynamic leadership of the Chief Minister Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao and is taking all the steps to promote Industry and we welcome any partnership between Tatarstan and Telangana”.
The President of Tatarstan and the two Deputy Prime Ministers also met with the Governor of Telangana, Mr. E. S. L. Narasimhan and had a discussion on extending the relations between the Republic of Tatarstan and the state of Telangana.
