TJAC leaders appeal YSRC leadership to take a pro-Telangana stand

TJAC chairman Prof Kodandaram said that TJAC had appealed to all political parties which would be attending the December 28 all party meeting to make a clear statement on the issue of bifurcation of the State. He was talking to media after his meeting with the honorary president of YSRC party YS Vijayalakshmi at her Lotus Pond house on Saturday.

He said he along with Srinivas Goud and Devi Prasad appealed to the YSRCP honorary president to see that those who represent the party present a clear stand at the all party meeting on the issue.
He said, “What we had to convey, we have conveyed.

She said she will think over our suggestion.” Kodandaram said if the YSRCP and other parties take pro T stand, people will feel happy or else they will be shown their place in the region during next elections.

He said, Vijayalakshmi had told them that she would examine their suggestion and that the party will take a decision after discussing the issue soon.

The party central council member MV Mysoora Reddy said that Kodandaram had asked them to present one single opinion at the all party meeting on the contentious T issue. The party leadership will soon discuss the issue and take a decision, he added. [Courtesy: The Hans India]
